How to Make Friends on Social Media Sites

Do you have trouble making friends? The internet is a great way to meet new people. Here are some tips for meeting people on social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

1. Find people with similar interests

2. Comment on their posts or photos, and ask them questions about what they’re doing

3. Share your own photos and videos to get others interested in you

4. Keep conversations going by asking more questions than you answer

5. Respond to comments on your posts so that other users will want to comment back

6. Use hashtags when posting so that the post can be found by other users who are looking for a specific topic

7. Join groups on social media sites that are related to your interests

8. Respond to posts in those groups with thoughtful comments and questions

9. Use hashtags when posting photos – these will allow people who have similar interests to find you

10. Post about things that interest you, not just random updates or pictures of what you ate for breakfast

11. Follow other users with similar interests and engage them in conversation if they follow back

12. If someone follows you, send them a message thanking them for following!
